Soon we will kick off the content-submission phase of this project, asking people to prepare questions and answers for publication. We'll make separate meta posts (for different sections) for the prepared questions; this post is to collect candidate links so that (a) we can get a head start and (b) people who don't have time/ability to prepare something can still nominate content.

I'm making this community wiki. Please edit the answer below to link to questions you think would be good. If you can also suggest particular answers and/or the section of the haggadah that it fits in, so much the better. People preparing questions can harvest this list (delete the link here when you do) or do their own searches; no pressure and no guarantees.

See this list of tags for good places to look. If you don't see the question you want, just ask it!

  • @IsaacMoses Considering we don't dip the matza in salt at the Seder, does it make sense to put in the question about asking to pass the salt?

    @Michoel, the principle applies even if that particular utterance doesn't. If someone edits this for publication, they may consider changing the phrases to something more applicable, like "pass me a kezayit."

  • Monica, I think that including one of the "How to Seder" questions at the beginning would be perfectly appropriate. It's on-topic and valuable, since almost anyone who's interested in reading interesting Q&A related to the Seder is also interested in having a good Seder.

  • Thanks Isaac. One question is "which question, or all three?". (If the latter, we could make an introductory chapter that brings them together.) People could use our supplement at all sorts of sedarim; are we making assumptions about which ones are most likely, trying to address them all (I think our supplement helps all these cases), or biting off too much by jumping in here?

  • Of the three, the one you posted has the richest set of answers. I agree with your point about a wide target audience, so combining the three sounds like a worthwhile exercise.

    @IsaacMoses, I combined them into one post here. I'm thinking that if we use it, it should be either part of the front-matter or an appendix. These aren't questions you would actually ask during the seder, unlike the rest of our content. Please add further thoughts there, anybody.
